Avian Visitors

Although we have a great many BlueJays, Sparrows, and Cardinals visiting our bird feeder we also have some not so common birds come our way.

Our most frequent visitors besides the ever present Blue Jays are Cardinals. I've named them Mr. & Mrs. C and they are a joy to watch as the male will sometimes feed get seed from the feeder and take it over to the bush to feed Mrs. C.

Mr. & Mrs. C, our Cardinal friends.

The following two images of the strikingly colored painted bunting do not do the bird's plumage justice as the picture was quickly snapped through the window (which has a screen on the outside).

This white dove appeared out of nowhere one evening and has become a fairly regular visitor to our little feeder.
